Art and craft

The art programme introduces painting, sketching, regular craftwork, clay modelling and papermaking. Students explore materials including pencils, pastels, crayons, clay and plaster.

02

Creating from everyday materials

“Best from waste” activities encourage students to turn used boxes, paper, beads and plastic bottles into creative work, discovering new possibilities in everyday materials.

03

Music, dance and drama

Fine and performing arts include music, dance and dramatics. KSA offers broad exposure in junior school and opportunities for middle-school students to develop particular interests.

04

Learning through practice

Workshops, presentations and practical projects help students explore art, craft and design. Independent study and discussion complement creative work.

05

Expression and participation

Creative writing, poetry, languages, debate, extempore speaking and elocution provide further opportunities to share ideas and build confidence.

06

Creativity in the early years

Painting, clay, collage, songs and storytelling give younger children ways to explore materials, language and rhythm. Play and creative work encourage expression and confidence.

07

Sharing creative work

Art projects and cultural performances contribute to inter-house programmes and annual celebrations. Students can share their work with the wider school community.
