Kirpal Sagar Academy celebrated 26 January 26-01-2021
Kirpal Sagar Academy celebrated 26 January - the day when India became Republic - with pomp and show, the students exhibited great zeal and patriotic spirit. The entire school courtyard was resplendent in the shades of tricolour.
The programme began at 10:00 a.m. Mr Gurjeet Singh, Principal was escorted to the venue by the NCC cadets. The National Flag was then unfurled by the principal, followed by the National Anthem sung by the school choir and colourful balloons in Nation's hues were released into the air After this, students presented various cultural items, which included dance performances on varied patriotic songs. The junior and middle wing presented Yoga and Karate performance. The speech in Hindi invoked the precious contribution of great freedom fighters. The school choir sang "Saare Jahan Se Achha…" - which reverberated everyone with the feelings of patriotism. A wonderful choreography was presented by the students giving a glimpse of the unity in diversity of the nation. The senior boys performed Bhangra, a highlight of the programme.
The principal's speech explained the soul sacrifice of the revolutionaries in making our country. He also emphasised on the importance of constitution and told the students to know their rights given by the constitution and understand their duties towards the society also.
Everyone took a pledge to uphold the honour, integrity, dignity and uniqueness of our nation. A vote of thanks was tabled by the Anchors in the end. Sweets were distributed to everyone.
The beautiful ceremony came to an end with the utmost completeness in the heart of everybody.
