“ At the stroke of the midnight hour when the world sleeps, India will awake to life & freedom.”

So said pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on the evening of India ‘s Independence. On this 69th Independence Day we paid homage to the countless martyrs who laid their life to gift us a free India.

The students were filled with patriotism and love for their Country. The programme started with the unfurling of the tri color by our Principal, Mrs. Madhu Aeri. This was followed by a speech in Hindi by Hitanshu. The choir of Kirpal Sagar presented “ Vande Mataram” and “Saare Jahan se Achha”. The principal gave a crisp speech highlighting the need to be selfless and do something for the country. Overall it was an experience who cherished the value of freedom and patriotism.
